Scholarships

Students must try their best to take care of themselves financially, in particular by searching for scholarships through public or private institutions in their country of origin and in Switzerland (see the information below).

For those students who are unable to secure funding, the UCIHL offers a limited number of scholarships. These are awarded on the basis of a combination of criteria: academic excellence, financial situation, and proof that other alternative sources of funding have been exhausted.

If you would like to apply for a scholarship from the UCIHL, please complete the Scholarship Application Form, and send it, duly completed, and with all the required attachments, together with your MAS application file.

A number of students of the UCIHL have in the past received financial support by applying for a scholarship (cost of living only) offered to foreign students by the Swiss Government through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students.

Looking for scholarships

First of all, we recommend contacting the Students Services of your study institution, which will provide relevant advice and information, notably about scholarships or exchange programmes offered by your own government and/or institution.

Then, contact the nearest Swiss consulate or embassy, where you will find information about studying and living in Switzerland and available governmental scholarships.

Securing the resources to finance a course of studies abroad can be an arduous task. We hope the advice, contacts and links below will be of help.
